The Cold War
This mini-unit will cover the basics of the Cold War in four lessons. The first lesson focuses on the beginning of the war and the basic underlying struggle between the U.S. and the Soviets. The second lesson presents the intrinsic differences between Capitalism and Communism. The third lesson takes an in-depth study of the Berlin Wall, the visible symbol of an invisible divide. The fourth lesson takes a broader look at how the Third world nations were affected by the Cold war, specifically looking at Cuba and it's revolution.
